KENT EIGSTI
Co-Owner / Frame Crew Leader
Kent learned the building trade at an early age in the business his father, Paul Eigsti, started in 1968.
Kent worked for his father throughout high school and graduated from Morton High School in 1988 and went on to Bradley University graduating Cum Laude with a B.S. in Construction in 1992. Even though Kent had the experience and knowledge of building homes with his father Paul, he decided to get his college degree so that it would help him in the business management end of running a construction company.
In 1993, Kent and his father, Paul, became business partners and changed the name of the company from Paul Eigsti Builder to Eigsti Construction, Inc. Shortly after this, Paul was diagnosed with cancer and Kent took over running the day to day operations of the company as well as leading the framing crew. In 1999, with the passing of his father, Kent and his brother-in-law, Brad Kennell, became the owners of Eigsti Construction, Inc.
BRAD KENNELL
Co-Owner / Trim Crew Leader
Kent's brother-in-law, Brad, grew up in Eureka, IL. Brad graduated from Eureka High School in 1988 and went on to graduate from the University of Illinois, Champaign in 1993.
Brad came on board at Eigsti Construction in 1995 as the Trim Crew supervisor, taking over each house after the framing is completed. Brad and his crew trim out each house to completion. This crew makes sure all of the finishes and details are perfected for our clients before they move in to their new homes. In 1999, with the passing of his father-in-law Paul, Brad became Co-Owner of Eigsti Construction, Inc. and today he continues to work alongside his crew, ensuring no detail is overlooked.

lucky for us, we have the best there is! The Eigsti Team consists of two crews; the Frame Crew and the Trim Crew. Each employee has been hand selected for their attention to detail. Having in-house crews working alongside Kent and Brad allows Eigsti Construction to continue their tradition of quality craftsmanship. We’d like to introduce you to our work family... we think they are pretty great!

Allan has worked as a carpenter for 30 years. He and his wife have been married 27 years and they have four children. He enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.

David has been married to his wife since 2008 and has three children. He loves hunting and fishing… and hunting and fishing… and hunting and fishing…. in his spare time.
Brian Blevins

Brian has been a carpenter for 21 years. His hobbies include playing the drums (he is in a band and very talented!), enjoying live music, and spending time with his wife.
Joe Burnham
Framing Crew Member
since September 2011
Joe and his wife have three kids, ages 9, 7, and 6. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, working and playing sports.
Brett Grimm
Office Manager/Remodel Coordinator since 2017
Brett has been in construction, specializing in heating and cooling, since 1998. He likes to spend his free time with his wife (Lena) and four kids and hunting, shooting, practicing Jiu Jitsu, trading futures, and reading.
Lena Grimm
Design Consultant since November 2017
Lena has owned a local children’s boutique, worked at Grimm Interiors, was a communication specialist, and helped with numerous local events… anything creative! In her free time she is generally running kids around or spending time with them and her husband (Brett).
Joe Barnes

Joe has been in construction since 2012. In Joe’s freetime, he likes to go four-wheeling, fishing and working on his family farm.
Nathan Cushman

Nathan grew up around construction. In his spare time, he enjoys anything sports related and participating in his church activities.
AUSTIN REEDY
Trim Crew Member Since
August 2020
Austin received his degree in Criminal Justice from Eureka College while working construction along the way. After working a couple of years in Corrections he’s happy to be back in a career he loves! Austin enjoys time at the gym, fishing, and hunting.
ANDREW CUSHMAN

Andrew grew up around construction. He loves all things sports and his family (see his brother, Nathan, above) and friends.
